Fellowship in Image-Guided Orthopaedics (FIGO)

To cater to the diverse learning needs of practising orthopaedic surgeons, FIGO will be offered in two distinct training models:

  • In-Person Fellowship
  • Hybrid Fellowship

Both programs are competency-based and focus on developing expertise in image-guided, office-based orthopaedic interventions, evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making.

Structure 1: In-Person Fellowship

  • 1 Month Intensive Fellowship
  • 3 Months Advanced Fellowship
  • 1 Year Comprehensive Fellowship
1 Month

A. 1-Month Intensive Fellowship

Duration: 1 Month (Full-Time)

Objective: Designed for clinicians seeking focused exposure to modern non-surgical musculoskeletal practice and image-guided interventions.

Training Includes
  • Daily OPD participation
  • Office-based procedures
  • IPD procedural exposure
  • USG-guided MSK interventions
  • C-ARM guided procedures
  • Clinical case discussions

B. 3-Month Advanced Fellowship

Duration: 3 Months (Full-Time)

Objective: To create future leaders in Image-Guided MSK practice capable of independently managing comprehensive outpatient musculoskeletal care.

Stipend

A monthly stipend will be provided throughout the fellowship period based on institutional policy and satisfactory performance.

Exit Examination

Successful completion of a mandatory exit examination is required for certification in every fellowship module, irrespective of the duration or training structure.

Structure 2: Hybrid Fellowship

Designed for practising clinicians who cannot relocate full-time while still receiving structured clinical mentorship.

Duration: 6 Months

Mandatory Clinical Training

21 Days of on-site training at Spinalogy Clinic (On-site training must be completed in 6 months with prior intimation.)
